The booming economic development in Asia, particularly
the leading manufacturing industries from automobile,
machinery, computer, communication, consumer product,
flat panel display to semiconductor and micro/nano areas
have attracted intense attention among universities, research
institutions and many industrial corporations. The knowledge-based
industries have been enjoying immense growth potentials;
thus, there is an urgent need of exchanging various scientific,
technical and management aspects across the wide spectrum
of the society.
Main Theme:
The theme of the conference is set as Advanced Manufacture,
Focusing on New and Emerging Technologies Papers with
innovative idea or research results in all aspects of
advanced manufacture are encouraged to submit. This

Kenting, the most popular area for tourist, is at the
southernmost tip of Taiwan. There is the first National
Park, Kenting National Park, in Kenting. The unique
regional features here include coral reefs, solitary
mountains, ponds, sand dunes, and tropical forests.
The seaside in Kenting is a good place for recreation
and swimming. One can also go to Erlunbi, which is at
the southern tip of Taiwan. Visitors can look to the
left for the Pacific Ocean and look to the right for
Taiwan Strait. In addition, The National Museum of Marine
Biology and Aquarium is also around.
Invited Session:
In additional to regular papers, the conference will
feature invited sessions on specialized topics of interests.
The invited sessions are intended to usher in, in-depth-discussions
in special areas relevant to the conference theme. The
session organizers will coordinate the associated review
process. The conference proceedings will include all
papers from the invited sessions.
Paper Submission:
The working language for the conference is English. Paper should be submitted in pdf format to www.icam2010.org by 31 August, 2009. The length of the paper is limited to a maximum of 6 pages (A4 size, single spacing, Times Roman of font size 10, double columns forms format), including figures, tables and references. Upon acceptance, authors will be required to register and present their papers. Papers will be published in the conference proceedings only if at least one of the authors is officially registered.
